Allopathic in Mills River: Dr Sarah Brown with HealthCare for Pets is five minutes away and does a great job. She brought Peppermint Patty back from death’s door when Patty developed idiopathic hemolytic anemia. Dr. Brown’s years of experience and terrific resources (eg. Drs. Allan and Nancy Kay) gave PPatty extra time with us. Bobbi’s Taz underwent successful bladder stone surgery with Dr. Brown. We are very grateful and lucky to have Dr. Brown as our neighborhood vet!
Holistic in Asheville: Dr. Laurel Davis of Sunvet Animal Wellness Clinic treats your whole dog, not just the part with something wrong with it. A traditional vet who has embraced alternative therapies, Dr. Davis is experienced and certified in acupuncture, cranio-sacral therapy and homeopathy. Peppermint Patty always loved going in for cranio-sacral therapy – you could actually see the difference in her demeanor after a treatment!
Holistic in Brevard: Dr. Ann Davis Holshouser at Riversong has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1991. Her practice philosophy is integrative, which means she blends the best of natural and conventional treatments for her patients. Bobbi says Taz has benefitted from acupuncture treatments.
