We are now offering complimentary theater tickets to plays showing at the Flat Rock Playhouse for guests staying at our Mills River property through our partnership with Henderson County Tourism.

Located just 30 minutes from our Mills River property in Flat Rock, NC, the Flat Rock Playhouse. offers a variety of high-quality, entertaining shows throughout the year that’ll leave you wanting to go back for more. The Playhouse has a vibrant history stretching back to as early as 1937. It was officially recognized as The State Theatre of North Carolina in 1961. 

How to See a Show at Flat Rock Playhouse

To see a show during your stay with us, contact one of our Guest Services Coordinators at (828) 891-8288 or stop by our office. Reservations for complimentary tickets for shows Tuesday – Friday must be made through Barkwells office at least 24 hours prior to the show and before 3:00 pm. Reservations for shows Saturday – Monday must be placed with the Barkwells office by 3:00 pm on Friday.

Guests will pick up the tickets at the Box Office under their name prior to show time. You should plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. Please note that cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the show or guests will be charged for the tickets.
