You know the moment well. You're trying to get your walk done. Maybe you've got 20 minutes before a work call, and your dog has spent the last four of them with their nose buried in a single patch of grass. You give the leash a gentle tug. They don't move. You tug again. Still nothing. The sniff, apparently, is not finished.
